Call us Artist or call us Engineers, there seems to be many of us, like myself, that can direct our creativeness in a positive way. I see them more and more at craft shows and on the web. People are taking used and discarded items and giving them a new life, a new purpose. Upcycling provides uniqueness in a progressive way and can be more resourceful than recycling .

My mission with A Creative Shade of Green is to impose the idea that you really can create quality from something old or discarded by promoting those who have dedicated themselves to inventively reusing what they find or have.

About Us

A Creative Shade Of Green holds intrest in providing an avenue for upcycling companies and individual artistans to be found by those who seek to take a greener and more progressive approach to living on this planet.

We are located in North Central Pennsylvania in the heart of gas land. My heart tells me the drilling we are doing here is reckless. The debate of natural gas drilling is a significant and personal motivation in creating this blog. I believe that a greener concious is required among everyone.

Reusing and Upcycling manufactured materials is an easy step toward thinking green. Fact of the matter is that most people don't think of junk as being very attractive. We would like to prove you wrong and show you upcycling artist's products and ideas that are unique, fine crafted and attractive.
